Trustpilot removes PeterMD's review profile

Trustpilot's page for PeterMD now says the business "goes against our guidelines and is no longer visible on Trustpilot." The profile previously showed nearly 14,000 reviews, most of them very positive. A review site, Vaccine Alliance, had reported the change by September 7, and we confirmed it ourselves on October 1. Trustpilot's notice doesn't say which guideline was involved, and it doesn't show a removal date, so we can't say when or why it happened.

PeterMD's homepage still shows a "4.9/5 Based on 20k+ Reviews" rating without naming an independent source for it. PeterMD is in our directory. Under our published scoring rules, a provider with no verifiable independent rating earns no reputation points, so PeterMD's reputation score fell from 2 to 0 and its Atlas Score from 3.5 to 3.1. We updated its review on October 1.

What it means for youA star rating on a company's own website isn't the same as one hosted by an independent review platform. When you compare providers, check ratings on the review platform itself, and look at more than one source. Our scoring method explains how we weigh reviews.

We also checked FDA, DEA, and FTC announcements, federal telehealth policy, and news on the providers in our directory. Nothing else in the window affected treatment access, cost, safety, or health data for men's health readers. Medicare's October 1 billing change for rural health clinics and community health centers is administrative, and Medicare telehealth coverage remains in place through December 31, 2027.
